Last week, I helped out a photographer friend of mine who bought a new flash (called a Beauty Dish). She wanted to be able to test it out before using it for paying clients. I was more than happy to help! Here are some of the photos.

M&D in the City!
Since it is Spring Break week, Mom and Dad decided to come spend their "break" with me in New York City. And we had the time of our lives! We paid our respects at the Reflecting Pools of the 9/11 Memorial and found some delicious pizza for dinner. Mom and Dad wandered the Vision Expo, the city in the cold wind and had Thai food for dinner at a restaurant called Noodies! haha We toured the USS Intrepid air and space museum. It made me feel like I was back on the Solstice! It was a wonderful museum and tour. The weekend ended by seeing "Phantom of the Opera" on Broadway. It was extremely beautiful and starred a Point Park alumni! I love my parents and getting to share my life in New York with them was so special.
Vision Expo
This past weekend, I had the pleasure of working the International Vision Expo at the Jacob Javits Center here in New York City. It was a gigantic expo full of glasses, lenses, frames, sunglasses, eye equipment, contacts, selfie booths, free stuff and lots of people. I worked for a company called Marcolin as the "Rampage model", modeling their latest line of Rampage eyewear and passing out advertising flyers. It was a three day event. According to my FitBit I walked 18,000 steps just on the first day! Mom and Dad even got to walk around the expo and pick up a bunch of freebies on the last day.

ICCA @ RPI
A week after I got back from Florida, my whole family got to go to RPI to see Andrew's acapella group, The Rusty Pipes, compete in the ICCA's. It was the first time we had been together as a family since before Christmas and it was a blast! I truly have the best family. And to top it off Andrew's group placed 4th! I am so proud of him and he rocked his solo!
"La Cage aux Folles"
I have been terrible at blogging the past couple months, but here is a little update on my performances in "La Cage aux Folles" at the Wick Theatre in Boca Raton, FL. It was so nice to be down in warm, sunny Florida during the cold, snowy months in the Northeast, especially working at such a great company! We had a great 6 week run of the show, 8 shows a week! It was exhausting, but very rewarding. Here's some photographic proof of all the fun I had.
