Three weeks into Montana

I have been in Whitefish, Montana for three weeks now and it is AMAZING!  We are rehearsing 8 hours a day, 6 days a week and on our days off we are adventuring in Glacier National Park and around the area.  The company I'm working for, Alpine Theatre Project, is treating me like gold and we have now learned 3 shows in just as many weeks.  We start tech in the theatre this week and then open our first show on July 9th.

If you ever want to send anything my way, my address in Montana is:

Alpine Theatre Project

I guess it is about time to share some exciting news and my next exciting adventure. I will be heading to Whitefish, Montana to work at the Alpine Theatre Project for June and July. We are doing three shows that will run in repetition for the month of July.  The shows are "Chicago", "Big Fish" and "Ring of Fire".  I am so excited to explore a part of the country that I have never been before, Big Sky Country, the Pacific Northwest!

I am also happy to report that I will be joining Actors Equity Association, the actors union, from this job! I know that the auditioning pool will be harder and full of more talent, but I am looking forward to the benefits and the professionalism that comes along with it. Soon to be Proud Member of AEA!

Pin-Up Photoshoot

Here's to 26

My 26th birthday was spent with friends in NYC, seeing shows, auditioning, attending callbacks, rehearsals for the flash mob and enjoying life.  Here's to the next year of excitement!

Jerry's Girls

May 3rd I had the honor of participating in a special surprise flash mob for a man named Jerry!  His daughter had a bench dedicated to him for his 85th birthday in Central Park, near Tavern on the Green, and this was the first time that he was getting up to NYC from Florida to see it.  So, his family arranged a flash mob to make the moment even more special.  And let me tell you, I am so grateful that I was able to be a part of the moment!

KMS California Hair Show

Last weekend, I was cast in a hair show here in the city.  It was my first hair show and I had so much fun!  I loved getting my hair done, makeup done, walking the 50' runway and making new connections.  I would do another again in a heartbeat!

April 14, 2015

It is hard to believe that a whole year has passed since Grandpa passed away.  I just knew that I wanted to spend the day home in Maine with my Mom, so that we could get through the day together.  It was a perfect day. We made a list of all things we knew he would like and checked them off throughout the day. Here is our day in review:

We started the day with eggs and putting together our Grandpa puzzle

We walked down to the grocery store to buy Klondike bars, carrying our naked man Abercrombie bag and collecting bottles and cans and pennies!

We made a trip to the Goodwill Buy-the-Pound to search for cheap goodies

We had lunch at GHOP since Gpa loved the chicken salad!

We made a trip to the Cuffey's house for a family visit.  It was so nice to see Abby, Jared, Uncle Greg, Ann and play with little Stella!

Our last stop was dinner at Denny's and to our surprise a "Red, White and Blue Slam" was on the menu.  So of course mom and I had to get it in honor of Grandpa's patriotic love!

Corinne Louie Photography

Last week, I helped out a photographer friend of mine who bought a new flash (called a Beauty Dish).  She wanted to be able to test it out before using it for paying clients. I was more than happy to help!  Here are some of the photos.

M&D in the City!

Since it is Spring Break week, Mom and Dad decided to come spend their "break" with me in New York City.  And we had the time of our lives! We paid our respects at the Reflecting Pools of the 9/11 Memorial and found some delicious pizza for dinner.  Mom and Dad wandered the Vision Expo, the city in the cold wind and had Thai food for dinner at a restaurant called Noodies! haha We toured the USS Intrepid air and space museum.  It made me feel like I was back on the Solstice! It was a wonderful museum and tour.  The weekend ended by seeing "Phantom of the Opera" on Broadway.  It was extremely beautiful and starred a Point Park alumni! I love my parents and getting to share my life in New York with them was so special.
