I am very pleased to announce that I have been cast in another show out here in California. The musical "Big Fish", based on the movie of the same name, closed on Broadway this past December. Luckily, I was able to see it before it closed. I will be a part of the first regional production and the first restaging since Broadway at Musical Theatre West in Long Beach, CA! Rehearsals start beginning of October and the show will close November 16th. I have had the privilege of working with a lot of this talented cast before and I can't wait to start working with them gain, as well as meeting some new people. Here's to Big Dreams and Big Fish!

"Ensemble members...are Broadway-caliber triple-threats each and every one, with special snaps to the statuesque Ernest’s rafters-high vocalizing in “Doctor’s Orders”"

Carlsbad Beach Days
One of the perks of working in California is the Pacific Ocean! On days off, the cast gets together for beach trips and it is so enjoyable. It doesn't hurt that we have a very attractive cast, either!

Arts and Crafts
Just because I haven't shared a blog post recently doesn't mean that I haven't been doing anything interesting! I have been very busy with rehearsals for Catch Me If You Can here in Vista, California, but not so busy that I haven't had some time for myself. I took that time for myself to do some arts and crafts projects.
Last Sunday was "Crop Top Sunday" for our rehearsal and Designer Run. Three of the boys decided they were going to cut a shirt to make a crop top. I got to keep the scraps and decided I wanted to do something fun with them. I went on Pinterest and found some amazing ideas. I think you will be impressed with the results!
My second project was for the show. Our choreographer decided that the girls should be extra special (duh) and have sparkly shoes. Luckily, I had an extra pair of character shoes and was more than happy to give them a makeover. Here is the final result. I am obsessed with them! I can't stop staring at them :)
